Review Policy

+++I will be on a reviewing hiatus until further notice as we get ready for a cross-country move++ 5/3/21

One-Legged Reviews was started in Jan. 2018 because of my love of reading. I have reviewed books and movies on and off for over 20 years and recent retirement has given me the opportunity to devote more time to this endeavor.

I am happy to review books, comics and movies from the HORROR, DARK FANTASY and DARK SCI-FI genres. I also enjoy books that have to do with history of Horror and production/history of horror cinema.

I accepts both digital (.mobi format, PDF is not accepted) & physical books for review.

Being an old-school reviewer I do prefer a physical copy of the book, but I do understand that sometimes this is not possible due to the constraints of small press and self-published authors.

I do receive quite a few request a week and do my best to read all books in a timely manner. If your book has a upcoming release date I will do my best to work with you to have a review done by the release date.

All my reviews will be mirrored to GOODREADS and AMAZON, as well as promoted on the One-Legged Reviews FB page and other genre specific FB pages.
